村田いづ実は、女子美術大学卒業以来、サブカルチャーに材を取ったパフォーマンスを続けている。いまでこそガーリーなソフトフェミニズムな表現は主流であるが、村田いづ実が始めた80年代後半はそうではなかった。
 
今回は母の死によってはじめて現実と接したという作家が、自らを「浦島花子」と称して、モラトリアムな人生とその外側にあった社会に想いをはせる作品となる。
 
         Since she graduated from Jyoshi Bijyutsu(Women's Art) University, Izumi Murata continues the performance of taking material to subculture. Girly or soft feminism expression is mainstream now, but it was not so in the late 1980s when Izumi Murata  started.
 
        This time the artist who first touched the sociel reality by the death of her mother. She calls herself "Hanako Urashima" and will be a work that puts a mental feeling on the society that was outside the moratorium of her life.
