「WARAO BBC exhibition　ーsilhouetteー」
7/11（火）-22（土）
17日（月）休廊です。
オープニングは11日午後6時～に開催します。
 
漫画を１ページとして見た時に、構成によって見る者の視線を誘導するという手法を絵画に取り入れようという試みから、現在の作風が生まれた。また、絵画が一枚の中で見る者それぞれに、それぞれの思いを抱かせるという部分を、漫画の形式と組み合わせることで、より意識的に、鑑賞者の記憶を媒介とした、ひとりひとりの物語を引き出す装置としての狙いがある。大理石のような下地を作り（エアブラシのみではデザイン的な印象が強くなるため、自然の要素を取り入れる目的）その上にパソコン上で作成した下絵を元に描いていく。

1987年6月3日　宮城県仙台市生まれ。2010年　東北生活文化大学家政学部生活美術学科卒業。2015年、個展「waraobbc exhibition Upheaval」(仙台／晩翠画廊)。2016年、個展「waraobbc exhibition SOLID MIRAGE」(東京／Gallery銀座フォレスト)ほか。

        The composition of one page of Manga(cartoons) guides the viewer's gaze. Being Interested in it, Bibishi Warao is doing an attempt to incorporate the method of Manga into his painting.
        Looking at a painting, people get each thought freely.
       By combining this characteristics of painting with the format of Manga, he tries more consciously to make people draw their own individual stories through their memories.
         For his painting, first he makes a marble-like foundation to incorporate elements of nature  (for drawing a picture with just the air brush, it looks like a graphic design picture) and then paints the image based on a sketch created using a personal computer.
