河野さおり展「Multitude」

河野さおりはいままで「ガーリー」な少女の考えるイメージを描いてきたが、本個展の展開は「マルティチュード（Multitude）」だという。
マルティテュード（Multitude）とは、マキャベリによって最初に使用され、ネグリとハートの帝国論を契機として再び注目を集めた。“民衆”などの意味を持つ概念である。どうやら河野は「＃Me Too」運動などフェミニズムの視点から保守化する世界に対し “民主的大衆”に向けて主張をはじめたようだ。
 
先人の努力を無駄にする時代が来てしまったのかと思う。が、時代が逆走しても踏ん張って少しでも先に進むようにしたら、もっと様々な事が広がっていくのではないか。（河野さおり）

I think that the age has come for people to waste the efforts of the predecessors. But, even if the trends seem to go backward if one doesn't give up and tries to go ahead even a little bit further, I think various things will spread.  Saori Kono
